Collect and exchange good practices on collective bargaining, social dialogue and responsible AI governance.

07

The EAGLE Decalogue

Develop practical guidelines for the ethical and socially responsible implementation of Artificial Intelligence.

08

European Cooperation

Foster transnational cooperation and knowledge exchange among European social partners and stakeholder organisations.

09

Fair & Sustainable Transformation

Support a fair, sustainable and inclusive digital transformation in European agriculture and food production.

From Challenge to Impact

Turning digital transformation into positive change.

EAGLE responds to the social and labour challenges created by digital transformation with a people-centred approach that connects research, social dialogue and practical action.

01

The Challenge

The agri-food sector is rapidly adopting Artificial Intelligence, robotics and digital technologies. While these innovations can improve productivity and sustainability, they also create major social and labour challenges.

Workers face risks including job displacement, digital skills gaps, limited transparency in algorithmic systems, unclear data ownership and unequal access to the benefits of technological innovation.

Social dialogue mechanisms are not always fully prepared to address the impact of AI on working conditions, workers’ rights and inclusion across agriculture and food production.

02

Our Innovation

EAGLE introduces a people-centred and socially responsible approach to AI governance in the agri-food sector.

The project combines research, policy analysis and social dialogue to create practical solutions that place workers, ethics and inclusion at the heart of digital transformation.

By bringing together trade unions, employers’ organisations, research institutions and European social partners, EAGLE promotes collaborative governance and develops practical tools for responsible AI adoption.
